Halloween=Fun

We had a wonderful Halloween! Michael took the day off, we slept in, had cinnamon rolls for breakfast and then the fun began. We all got dressed in our costumes and headed to school for the girls Kindergarten parade. So fun to see all the little kids dressed up! Then I helped with the class party while Michael and Ian went home to play Rock Band (Michael's birthday present). Then we went to the Training Table for lunch, so Michael could have his favorite Blue Bacon Burger! We came home to relax, play a couple more hours of Rock Band and get ready for the main event--trick of treating!

Emma as LUKE SKYWALKER

Sophia as PRINCESS LEIA

Ian as DARTH VADER

Mom The Witch

Dad The Grim Reaper

Emma and Sophia came up with these costume ideas all on their own! They begged me to make them costumes so the could be Luke and Leia. They convinced me when they said Luke and Leia were twins in the movie! So it began. Then Ian, who wanted to be Batman, decided he needed to be a Stars Wars something too, so we found this Darth Vader mask. I think they looked pretty great!
We had a good turn out for trick or treaters, thanks to the warm weather! I got to stay home and do my favorite thing--pass out the candy. I was good and didn't scare any kids, well not too bad! Michael took the kids around. They had a great time going around the neighborhood and got way too much candy! Hope everyone had a happy and safe Halloween!

What a great Star Wars group. You are much better looking than the original group. Emma you make a beautiful Luke and Sophia (aka Princess Leah) you are marvelous, Ian you are awesome, Michael you scared me and Amanda you are too cute to scare anyone! Looks like you made a day of great memories.
Thank you for sharing your day with

Happy Birthday To Me!

So you know Amanda this is exactly what that spray paint was for.

We went to the store to look for material and I kept asking his opinion when finally he said, "babe no matter what you do to that table you're going to hate how it looks." I think he's right. I'm just grateful to have a table... (was that believable?)

Oh and in my training table daze I forgot to mention to Michael, Happy belated Birthday!
