Close up of Silestone
If we only knew what we were getting ourselves into when we decided to rip out our counter tops and redo the entire kitchen! But they do look beautiful! We went with Silestone--a quartz counter top. We raised the counter height about 1 inch and got a new deep sink and new faucet. No more leaks! Then we painted the entire kitchen, dining, and main room. It's supposed to be taupe but depending on the light it looks: purple, brown, pink, or someone called it "mushroom"! We are still working on refinishing the cabinets in the kitchen and we still need to paint the entry way and hall way. So we might actually finish by September, at this rate! (We started in May)

I tried to explain the paint color situation to John when I got home from UT, but he'll have to see it for himself. I love how your new kitchen came together!! The silestone looks great!

Great counter tops... you need to go and see Sicko. It is a pretty major tear jerker since it is soooo true and yet our friends and family still don't believe that Dad's insurance policy was canceled and they came and took everything we owned for health care!!
We will watch the kids; you need to see this movie!
